My first tattoo, done by the wonderful Glen Decker at Studio ten. I can be honest in saying I had worked myself up to thinking it would hurt so much, when there was really nothing to it.

The word itself, 'Adiemus', when roughly translated means 'We will draw near', or come together. It's also the name of a project started by Karl Jenkins, basically to bring the world and our voices together as one through music.

This day last year I lost the closest person in the world to me to suicide, and decided to get this for her. We listened to the group together, and though I listened to it more so, it still always reminds me of her. Now that she's gone and I'm still around, all we can do is come closer to finally meeting again.

The sakura flowers or Cherry Blossoms were her favourite flower, and I chose to have two of them, representing us being reunited.

I also apologize for the blur the photo has- It's harder to take a shot of your own arm than I thought! Likely a better shot to come~
